Where are We?
Where are we now?
You can keep track of us via the internet. Just go to one of the following sites:
  1. ShipTrak - This is our favorite site for tracking Eleytheria. You will need to key in Amy's Ham license, KG4TYY, at the top of the page. Set the Zoom to Auto (also at the top of the page) and it will show you the history of where we've been. We're not sure yet how long they keep the tracks.
  2. APRS - (you can get an interactive MSN map of our location on this site by clicking on "this is a link you can use to see the position of KG4TYY on MSN" right above the map).
  3. Pangolin - (YotReps) This will tell you our latest location, or you can also see our latest reports on this site as well.
  4. Google Earth is a neat program that will give you a bird's eye view of where we are. Once downloaded, under the tab Fly To: put in out latitude and longitude in the following format (we use degrees, minutes and seconds): 13d15'45.06"N, 88d29'24.5"W (position in El Salvador). We haven't been including our seconds, but will begin.

You'll see the most updates while we're on passages as we try to update our position once a day. If we're not shown, don't worry, they may have just dropped us off the system if we've not filed in a bit. Give us some time and check again. Hope you will enjoy tracking us around the world!

Please note that we've created a Yahoo group to facilitate sending out notices to our friends when newsworthy events (for S/V Eleytheria) occur, and to let you know when we make updates to our site. It's a free program and easy to sign up for it at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sv_eleytheria/. We have set it up to allow only members to post comments, questions, or whatevers. But to keep spammers from posting about viagra, appendage enlargers, or whatevers, we set it up so we must approve membership. If you join, it might take a couple of days (or longer when we are in the middle of a passage) to get approved.
