Eleytheria (e-lef-tha-ri-a)* n. 1. Greek for freedom, the state or condition of being free; especially, the condition of enjoying civil liberty. 2. The condition of being personally free; liberty from bondage or slavery. 3. A quadrennial festival kept by the Greeks after the battle of Plataea in honor of Zeus in his aspect of Eleutherios (the Deliverer). 4.
